LUGF Seed Fund for collaboration with Stellenbosch University
Together with Marina Joubert, Roosmaryn Pilgram, and Gudrun Reijnierse, Ionica Smeets and I received a Leiden University Global Fund (LUGF) Seed Fund for starting a long-term collaboration with Stellenbosch University (South Africa) on antimicrobial resistance communication.
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing global health crisis, requiring not only biomedical innovation but also effective communication. Linguistic elements of AMR communication shape public understanding, trust, and behaviour, yet there remains much to be explored. With this seed fund, Leiden University and Stellenbosch University aim to address this gap.
